Rapid City is a city of about 68,000 in South Dakota – the north-central part of the USA. It’s also a challenge to get here from many places in the world.
The team from the University of Chile told ICPCNews that this was an easier year, with only two timezones and a 13-hour flight.
Other teams were enroute for up to 24+ hours. There were several yawns spotted as teams made their way through registration.
Tomorrow is a chance to get over that jet lag while seeing some of the attractions Mt. Rushmore has to offer.
