1. How did you (Coach) get involved as a coach for ICPC competitions? What year did you become involve as a coach?

This competition is new in Afghanistan. We participated in this competition in 2018 for the first time. Due to my experience in the last competition, I was selected as a coach of our team for this year’s competition.

2. Is there a strategy or lesson your team has learned that increased your success?

We learned from our mistakes in the previous competitions that prevented us from winning in the last competition.

3. How many teams have you (Coach) brought to the World Finals?

Seven teams

4. What are your team members majoring in?

All the team members are majoring in Computer Science.

5. At what age(s) did you begin programming?

One of our team members started programming at the age of 12 and others started at the age of 15 years.

6. How did you come up with your team name?

Our team name has been inspired by the Matrix movie.
