1. Is there a person or story your team admires or looks to for inspiration?

We owe it all to coaches Hussain Hussain, Marsil Zakour and Daniar Jarrous, who worked hard to train this team until we reached ICPC.

2. Does your team do any activities together outside of ICPC preparation?

Absolutely, we all are good friends. Whenever we have free time, we go out watch a movie or have lunch together.

How did you (Coach) get involved as a coach for ICPC competitions? What year did you become involve as a coach?

I was a contestant for 4 years but didn’t get to participate in ICPC, so now that I have passed the age limit of participation, I wanted to help my younger colleagues reach the dream that I couldn’t.

At what age(s) did you begin programming?

All of us are studying Software Engineering, so we began programming around the age of 18 or 19, except for one of our team members who is a pharmacy student who joined us in his very first year in college.

How did you come up with your team name?

Well it was decided the day the TV show came out and Mouhanad AKA “Meedo Shelby” couldn’t stop talking about it. So, coach Daniar “The Godfather” named the team The Peaky Blinders.
