The official opening day for ICPC 2018 got started on a high note with an early morning trip to the Great Wall of China at a spot near host city Beijing. The climb was formidable, but the view was great, and contestants, coaches and regional directors alike wore broad grins as they climbed.
After some time to rest, the day ended with a glorious opening ceremony featuring cultural performances like the Lion Dance.
