Car after car pulled up at the ICPC Hotels today as teams arrived in Ekaterinburg for the start of their ICPC adventures.
Up and down the Iset River, you could run into teams and staff enjoying the Sunday afternoon sunshine and completing ICPCQuest challenges.
Meanwhile, as this year’s contest gets under way, planning for next year’s regionals has already started. Regional directors from around the world had planning meetings to get ready for the contests. Finally, it was time to register. In addition to filling out paperwork and getting materials checked, contestants posed for official team photos and some video interviews as well. Below, twin brothers. Ievgen Soboliev and Dymytro Soboliev talked to ICPCNews about being twins and coders. Some twins finish each other’s sentences, but the Sobolievs said they can finish each other’s code.
